health & safety policy

It is the policy of the agency to provide, maintain and seek to improve the standards of Health & Safety in all Client’s premises. Operating practices, which will safeguard all employees and result in safe working conditions and efficient operation, must be followed at all times. The ability to prevent unnecessary accidents or injuries by consultation with all parties on Health and Safety matters will be established and maintained through The Injury Management Program.

O.P.S. supports the Injury Management Program which is a coordinated and managed program that integrates all aspects of injury management including treatment, rehabilitation, retraining, claims management and employment management practices to achieve optimum results.

Accidents’ resulting in personal injury represents needless human suffering to the individual(s) concerned, and to their families. Damage to property and equipment in an accident represents needless waste and cost to the employer and/or community.

Safety is   EVERYONE’S   RESPONSIBILITY.

This responsibility rests equally on all who work for the agency. We seek your active co-operation and support to ensure a safe workplace environment.

You may be assured of the agency’s personal concern and participation in The Injury Management Program to continually maintain and improve Occupational Health and Safety in our operations.
